She Sings - 10thDoM Shafts of Grace in the Corner of a Room

One more step, each further than the last
Closer to the happy life shafted for him

She slakes her glasses, her hiding rims
Not full of grace; it's a rough start

Moving on, this time she sings
In the corner of the room

  2. *chuckle* ... I think ...
I am a bit lost for words ... Is this Mozart before he found the lost chord and became famous?

  3. Well, okay. I'm at a loss for words too. I've read it several times, but I guess I just don't get it.

  4. Go Jelly! Awesome. I get it, interesting choice of song but a novel entry. Couldn't make it play on here but watched it on You Tube. If I slake my glasses (eye or wine), I can't read hahaha!

  6. Wow, OK. She does indeed sing. I really the "jamming" quality to the video, and you and the band are great.

And now the poem makes sense. I love the out-of-the-box approach to the muse.

Thanks for the info, Jeff. It made all the difference.

  7. I figured it to be she. I be GOW, so pardon if I listen mutely.

I like 'she slakes her glasses, her hiding rims' everything is bitter and twisted. We have a useful word over here, 'glassing', which I will try to use next muse. Awful concept, useful concept.
